Psychotherapy & Clinical Supervision

~Lili Sznaidman, MS, CMHC-S, PC ~

~A NC & DC Licensed, National Board Certified Counselor~

~Professional Experience~

My career as a mental health professional began over twenty (20) years ago.

It has encompassed working in private and non-profit organizations, in the public sector for program-specific projects, and in private practice.

I have offered mental health services to diverse populations of all ages -in English and in Spanish, ranging a myriad of ethnicities, and a multiplicity of nationalities and religious practices. Diversity and cross cultural relationships are indeed among my highest clinical interests. Currently, I focus my clinical efforts on individual adults 18 and older.

My graduate education took place at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where I completed a sixty-six (66) credit hour Master's in Counseling Degree in December 1996. Prior to graduation from the Master's program, I was inducted into Chi Sigma Iota, National Counseling Honor Society.

Thereafter, I have attained the following post-Master's Professional Credentials:

  • National Certified Counselor #46941 (1996)
  • Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor #3407-formerly named Licensed Prof. Counselor (NC) (1999)  -->Transitioned to LCMHC-Supervisor in 2010 #S3407; see below)
  • Approved Clinical Supervisor # ACS00729 (2008)
  • Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor #S3407 (NC) (2010)
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (DC) (2021) #PRC15533

I have received specialized post-graduate training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy via semester-long courses focused on the practice of psychotherapy from that theoretical perspective, at the Psychoanalytic Center of the Carolinas(PCC). Clinical case consultations with specialized senior clinicians, have also been an integral aspect if this extensive training.
